Training in IBIC

Alfa eCare Welfare - Documentation and IBIC

This course aims to give staff in care and social care a thorough understanding of IBIC and how this method can be used in Welfare Documentation.

By focusing on the individual's needs and wishes, the course should contribute to the staff being better able to meet each individual's specific situation and thereby raise the quality of care.

Course content:

  1. Introduction to IBIC:
    • What is IBIC and why is it important?
    • How IBIC is used to create individual implementation plans
  2. IBIC's basic principles:
    • Person-centred care
    • Collaboration between users, relatives and staff
    • Focus on the individual's needs, wishes and resources
  3. Assessment and documentation:
    • Practical guidance in completing individual needs assessments and implementation plans

Alfa eCare Welfare - Authority and IBIC

This course is designed to give welfare officers a deeper understanding of IBIC and how this method can be applied in the Welfare Authority. The course provides tools to ensure that the individual receives the help and support they need based on their specific needs, wishes and resources.

Course content:

  1. Introduction to IBIC and its principles:
    • What is IBIC and how is the method applied in the Welfare Authority?
    • IBIC's role in the legislation and its importance for aid processing
    • The advantages of working with IBIC in decisions about efforts and support
  2. Needs assessment according to IBIC:
    • Methods for identifying and assessing individual needs in a structured way
    • How to collect and interpret information from different sources (users, relatives, staff, etc.)
    • Tools in the Welfare Authority to make a comprehensive assessment of both physical, psychological and social needs
  3. From needs assessment to decision:
    • How decisions are made based on IBIC's principles
    • Examples of how to translate individual needs into concrete decisions about efforts
  4. Documentation and follow-up in IBIC:
    • How to document and follow up decisions in accordance with IBIC

This training gives you as a planner or coordinator practical knowledge of how you can plan the daily work with the help of Alfa eCare Welfare Planning. We go through how you effectively set up and manage both the basic and the daily planning.

Training for system administrators

This training is for those of you who will or are already working with system administration in Alfa eCare Welfare Planning. Perhaps you work as a system manager or system administrator and want to get a better overview of how configurations and settings in the system work?

During the training, we go through all the configurations and settings that you can perform in the system yourself.

Course content:

  • Introduction to Welfare Planning
  • Home page and basic functions
  • Use of the administration interface, e.g. management of keywords such as visit types, stakes and loops
  • Administration of authorizations and review of various authorization roles
  • Review of configuration of settings for web and app respectively
  • Review of log function
  • Management of employees and customers/users respectively
  • Work with the schedule function

Training in Alfa eCare Welfare - documentation

Training in HSL journal

The course gives you practical knowledge of how to document and manage HSL records in Alfa eCare Welfare Documentation. You will learn the functions of the system for keeping records and using health plans.

Course content:
  • Overview of basic functions in Welfare, e.g. message and task function
  • Using and customizing home page cards
  • Manage HSL missions: start, edit and exit
  • Establish and manage health plans
  • Basic journaling: writing and managing journal entries
  • Documentation in anamnesis and epicrisis
  • Read HSL documentation: search, filter and print journal

Training time: 2 hours

Education in SoL or LSS journal

The course gives you practical knowledge of how to document and manage SoL/LSS journals in Alfa eCare Welfare Documentation. You will learn the system's functions for record keeping and how to work with implementation plans.

Course content:
  • Overview of basic functions in Welfare, e.g. message and task function
  • Using and customizing home page cards
  • Manage SoL /LSS missions: start, edit and exit
  • Establish and follow up implementation plans
  • Basic record keeping: write and manage SoL/LSS notes
  • Read SoL/LSS documentation: search, filter and print journal

Training for system administrators

This training is for those of you who will or are already working with system administration in Alfa eCare Welfare Documentation. Perhaps you work as a system manager or system administrator and want to get a better overview of how configurations and settings in the system work?

During the training, we go through all the configurations and settings that you can perform in the system yourself.

  • Introduction to Welfare Documentation
  • Home page and basic functions

Training in Alfa eCare Welfare - signing

Training for system administrators

This training is for those of you who will or are already working with system administration in Alfa eCare Welfare Signering. Perhaps you work as a system manager or system administrator and want to get a better overview of how configurations and settings in the system work?

During the training, we go through all the configurations and settings that you can perform in the system yourself.

Course content:
  • Introduction to Welfare Signing
  • Administer patients, users and organization (not relevant for integration)
  • Administer mobile devices and contacts
  • Administer handling options, placement, and units of measure
  • Administer Delegation tasks and templates (optional module in the system)
  • Administer phrase texts (optional module in the system)
  • Administer log
  • Administer roles
  • Administer system settings
  • The customer service portal

Training time: 2 hours

Training for authorized personnel

The training is aimed at you who are a registered nurse, physio or occupational therapist and who will work in Alfa eCare Welfare Signering.

In this course you will learn the functions that you may use in the system, for example how to add new HSL interventions, how delegations are administered and how you can follow up on prescribed interventions.

The training is adapted based on the modules that are activated in your organization.

Course content:
  • Introduction to Welfare Signing
  • Review and use of app
  • Patient's stakes - add and manage different types of HSL stakes
  • Delegations (optional module in the system) - create, follow up, renew and end delegation
  • The event log
  • Compilation
  • Statistics (optional module in the system)
  • The customer service portal

Training time: 3 hours

Training for delegated personnel in the app

This training focuses on using the Signerings app in daily work. The training is primarily aimed at delegated personnel, e.g. assistant nurse, care assistant or resident supporter.

In the training, you will learn how the app works and is used to manage and sign delegated HSL efforts. We also go through how to sign your delegation digitally and get an overview of your delegations.

Course content:

  • Introduction to Welfare Signing
  • My delegations (optional module in the system)
  • Today's efforts to sign for selected unit or patient
  • Manage and sign standing and time-limited contributions as well as when needed
  • Send medication orders to authorized personnel
