Transition to NLL - individual prescribers

For individual prescribers with a company or organizational connection, the actor must use an IdP (an authentication function) that has been reviewed and approved by Sambi or a member of Sweden Connect, or reviewed and approved by Digg according to the Swedish e-Identification trust framework.

Leisure prescribers (without connection to healthcare providers, e.g. retired doctors) need to join via BankID. It does not require a federation but a self-declaration. 

During a transition period this autumn, it is possible to choose the new Prescription Service, which uses NLL and follows NLL's guidelines, in parallel with the current one. After 2025-12-01, the current service will be closed down and Prescription NLL will be the only solution. 

As the plan looks today, you will use the same link and login as today. 

We will return with information about changed functionality in the new NLL-based service.

For those of you who currently have an active license, nothing needs to be done with the license itself during the transition. It will also apply in the new NLL version.
